| Professor Thomas Borén, DDS, PhD, (born 1960) is Professor at Umeå university. His scientific interest includes molecular genetics and pathogenesis of Helicobacter pylori. He has published a number of papers in high-ranked journals in this field. He has recieved many prestigeous awards, and his discoveries in the H. pylori field has been noticed both at the international as well as the national level. He is the main inventors on the original H. pylori patent applications. |

(born 1963), is Associate Professor in Molecular Biotechnology at the Royal Institute of Technology and affiliated with the Department of Medicine, Karolinska Institutet. He holds a residency in Hematology at the Karolinska University Hospital, combining clinical work with active research in Molecular Medicine and Medical Biotechnology. He is also one of the inventors and active founders of CytaCoat AB. He is deputy board member of the Kempe Foundations. |

He is a member of the board of directors and also shareholder in several startup companies in life Science and in other industry.
